01 March, in the early hours of the morning one of our teams travels to Lviv (Lviv) in Ukraine under police protection. This is only possible through direct contact with the local governor. Soon after that followed the first talks with the local government. The goal is to achieve a green corridor along which aid transports can bring goods to Ukraine unhindered and quickly. With success! The corridor can be used already the following day. It is still a big bureaucratic effort to cross the border. But the time this process takes has been cut in half. Miraculously, the possibility arises to use a newly built but still empty warehouse on the Ukrainian side for the relief supplies.
