House Of Hope
In The Ukraine Crisis

CRISIS MANAGEMENT | EMERGENCY AID | RECONSTRUCTION AID
One week after the start of the war, the House of Hope relief team began providing humanitarian aid along the border of Poland and in turbulent areas of Ukraine.

Relief efforts are coordinated by our center of operations in Lviv (Ukraine). In cooperation with Lviv’s governor, a green corridor has been created between the city and Poland, allowing aid transports to access the country directly. With a large network of Ukrainian churches, House of Hope can distribute goods to remote areas. We have brought over 120 trucks carrying 40 tons of food, medicine, and equipment into the country to distribute to people in refugee shelters and active war zones.

To evacuate children and families and distribute relief, we have a fleet of 60 vehicles in active operation. These include buses, ambulances, and vans. To distribute food and medicine to active war zones, we use bullet-proof cars daily.

NETWORKING
House of Hope has a strong network of local churches and players, aid organizations, and governmental entities. These represent a tremendous resource for emergency relief and reconstruction in Ukraine.
EVACUATION
The evacuation of children and families – particularly orphanages and children with disabilities – is one of our
priorities. We work closely with the Ukrainian government to evacuate families with children from active war zones. We mainly work with the former Children’s Ombudsman of Ukraine, Nikolai Kuleba.

Every day our buses and ambulances enter the war zones to rescue sick children and orphanages. With the government’s assistance, we evacuated several orphanages to European countries; we sent sick children to clinics in Germany.

Food Program
We supported local bakeries by purchasing several hundred tons of flour and sauerkraut every month directly from the supplier. With this, we supplied local bakeries in Lviv, Kyiv, Bursivka, and Dnipro at two-week intervals. Baked bread was then distributed throughout the country to those in need.
rehabilitation centers for refugees
Together, we want to build sustainable rehabilitation centers for refugees to serve the long-term health of the Ukrainian people. In addition, we want to help restore the country through Hope Centers.
